It's our Annual Zwanze Day! Monk's Cafe and just 44 other great beer bars from around the world will be offering this year's version of Cantillon Zwanze lambic. Jean van Roy makes a lambic with a special ingredient each year. It's Jean's experiment. On very rare occasions, the Zwanze beer becomes part of Cantillon's regular rotation. The Elderflower infused Mamouche was first tried as a Zwanze. Jean had made one with Rhubarb. I can't wait to hear (and taste) what Jean has in store for us this year.
As always, this will be a CASH ONLY event. We will donate 100% of the sales of Zwanze to Charity. Since this is a charity event, I will break out a couple of additional special kegs today.
